Devin teaches class!!!!!!!!!!

3 of Hammurabi`s Code

Law #127: "If anyone "point the finger" at a sister of a god or the wife of any one, and cannot prove it, this man shall be taken before the judges and his brow shall be marked. (By cutting the skin, or perhaps hair.)"

My opinion on this law is that it is a little crazy like cutting the skin or cutting the hair.

Law #22: "If anyone is committing a robbery and is caught, then he shall be put to death."

This one is a little harsh because instead getting killed they could just go to jail instead.

Law #196. "If a man destroy the eye of another man, they shall destroy his eye. If one break a man's bone, they shall break his bone. If one destroy the eye of a freeman or break the bone of a freeman he shall pay one mana of silver. If one destroy the eye of a man's slave or break a bone of a man's slave he shall pay one-half his price."

This law is crazy we don’t have laws like this but it’s really crazy but I choose it because it was an interesting law.

Awesome Fridays!

So today in class we met all of our new/old class mates that our in our new western civilization class. We set up our new blogs for this semester and we all successfully sent you are URl to our blogs. Then we talked about what we write on our blogs or at least we were going to. We did actually talk about that even if your not in class that day you still have to post. On Friday we get an extra day to do our blog. Blogs are big points you will not get an A in this class if you don't do your blogs regularly. I cant believe that I don't have Angela in my class anymore. I'm really upset about that because its so lonely without her in this class. We were like study buddies! She reminded me to do my blog every night. Now who will remind me. Its so sad but this class will still be fun. I will get at least one A on one of you test this year. I'm going to remember to do my blog this semester I promise. I want to get an A in your class this quarter and next quarter. I ma going to study and try a lot harder and pay more attention in class this quarter. Well Bye!!
